Fourteen Frickin' Fantasies

I turned fourteen on Saturday. Whoa... I...don't feel any different... But here's some things I've fantasied about doing once I'm frickin' fourteen:
  1. Get my nose peirced (Oh yeah!)
  2. Start revising and then sending in like all my stories to magazines and try to make some actual money :)
  3. Maybe get a job at the library cuz they take fourteen-year-olds and older to shelf books (Blah, I know, but hey, it's a job.)
  4. I'd really like to get a pixie cut!
  5. Everybody's trying to find their "style", and everybody's been asking what I'll wear in high school. I think that sounds fun, cuz high school sounds like a great time to express yourself, so I thought I could try to pull off a punkish look-let me clarify first. Like thrift store clothes, throwing together random outfits, etc. No scary stuff. I like ripped jeans and fraying shirts and band tees. It just sounds like fun!
  6. I wanted a digital camera but that came true! Yay!
  7. Planning on finishing writing The Fifth Element, but only a first draft, mind you. Then comes revising and revising and then MORE revising! And then who knows if I can get it published. Hmph. Good thing I'll maybe have my library job thing.
  8. I better see a leprechaun! I mean, what is the point of living fourteen frickin' years if you haven't seen a leprechaun?!
  9. Seriously, I want to see a leprechaun.
  10. Chocolate. Yeah, not exactly sure. Just...chocolate...
  11. I want to read a LOT more books-like classics too.
  12. Broaden my intellectual plane. Basically learn some stuff. That's what high school's for, right?
  13. I hope we don't move.
  14. I wanna make a ton more friends in high school but I really want to keep the ones I have now! :)

Muddlepudding!

Muddlepudding: splashing around in puddles after or during the rain.

It doesn't rain much here. I mean, it's Winter-the "rainy season"-and I've only seen it sprinkle a few times. It's acually kinda funny. What I think of as rain is the kind you get in Missouri, in thick sheets of icy water. Here they say it's pouring when it's mildly sprinkling. That's when I laugh and say: "You think this is pouring?! No. Pouring is like in Missouri when the rain is coming down so hard it stings. Pouring's when it's falling so thick you can't see a thing. Everything is just gray. Pouring's when it's raining so fast you can't tell what's coming down and what's landed because it's hitting the ground so hard it flys in all directions!"
I love the rain. :)
But today-oh, today! it rained. Mahahahahahahaha!!!!! My brothers and I got home from school, pulled on some old shoes, zipped up our jackets, and ran outside and into the freezing rain! It acually was hailing for a bit-just little peeble sized bits of ice (Not like Missouri hail. Don't you get me started on Missouri hail!)
We splashed around in the muddlepuds (muddy puddles) and ran around with huge grins on our faces, yelling "IT'S RAINING!!!!!" And then I took a shower in the waterfall of rain rushing down off the roof...not the best idea, but it was awesome anyway! WOW. Coldness. I got a brain freeze but couldn't go back inside! Nope! Had to keep muddlepudding! So we kept at it till our mom had to tell us to come inside :(
It was so funnnnnnnnn! You should try it. :P

Lost In the World of Facebook

Sorry I haven't posted since forever! I was lost in the world of Facebook! It's this mystical land full of people that are all my friends and little gadgets and tons of pictures and stuff!!!!! I got so drawn in I acually for a while there thought it was better than Blogger. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no.
Nothing beats Blogger! Because I finally realized that you can't acually write on Facebook. You can chatter. You can Instant Message. You can even poke each other. But you can't Blog. Nope. You can write a "note" and post it on your profile, but it's a note. They even limit you on how long your status sentance is! So here I am, back on Blogger! Blogging away! Ha, ha. On my Blog...yeeeaaah.
